Hi All,
Please find my Rip Off Story below:
I Signed up for AppSheet.com to build an app connecting to a SQL database. Their website specifically states you can use SQL to build apps, but doesn't fully entail it must be a cloud database only. After signing up, I paid $10.00 for their "pro version" so I could start building this App. IT wasn't until further login where I saw all the limitations (not listed externally).
After which, I immediately deleted my account (which they make it easy to do) and reached out to obtain a refund through the phone number and email address provided. For several days, I've tried calling, emailing, and basically just kindly asking them to refund my $10.00 for an account I created that same day due to false advertisement and the overall fact that I cannot use their service I just paid for.
Beware: This organization is completely unresponsive to your requests and you'll likely need to file a dispute with your credit card company like I did.
