I was approched by an APXALARM sales rep one day. Listen to what the company had to offer. Talk about the monthly price and the sales agent told me that the 39.99 included all state and local taxs. The agent also told me that their was service techs available for service repaires. I was also informed that I would own the system once installed. I was also told if I recruted other customers i would recieve $50. off nexts month bill.

So i signed a 3 year contract and after i made my second monthly payment i had recruted a friend. When doing so i never recieved a $50.00 brake but instead my contract was sold to SAI. I had recieved this letter a week later when I notice a different company had drafted money from my account of $40 somthing dollars. I called my bank then called Apx and thats when i was told about the contract being sold. Called SAI and told them that my price was $39.99 a month they told me that it had changed.

This is very poor business practices. Then i wanted to purches extra remote, price quoted with Apx was $65.00 with no activation fee. SAI price quote was $80.00 plus $20.00 activation fee. I found an electronic store where i had purchesed 2 remotes for $65.00. I called SAI for assistance to program them. In doing so the customer tech rep had no knowledge of the system or even new how to program these remote.

After dealing with the hold time over 45 min. and over an hour with tech rep giving me the run around on how to program the remotes he gave the wrong instruction and lock up the alarm pad. The tech rep than had me take apart the Alarm pad and and disconnect the back up battery and at that time he hung up..

I called APX explained what had happen and their response thay counld not help me. Called SAI again requested a servcie call for another problem. During the programing some how it messed up one of the door sensor. This service call was place in Jan 2008 and I am still waiting for service. Called several times to SAI and I was informed that their are no service reps in my area and as soon one come available that they would call to set up an appointment. I am still waiting. I beleave that both of these companys are a scam.
