Aqua America, Inc. Aka Philadelphia Suburban Water Verification scam delays billing to keep homeowners in the dark about serious water leak. Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania

Aqua America is using their billing department to withhold meter readings from homeowners that would indicate a major water leak. After reading our meter, Aqua America purposely used an estimated meter reading to hide the fact that there was a major underground water leak. They justify the phony bill by claiming to "verify" that a major leak existed.

Not surprisingly, the "verification" process took several weeks as hundreds of thousands of gallons are wasted. Aqua America was in no hurry to inform the homeowner of the leak since it existed after the meter and they were pocketing thousands of dollars at homeowner's expense.

Aqua America is using the misfortune of homeowners to increase profits at the expense of the homeowners they serve. Aqua America willing and purposefully takes advantage of water problems by delaying billing statements that would alert the homeowners to a serious problem.
