NC GS Statute G.S. 62-110 Effectively makes it illegal to provide water and sewer servce for compensation without prior approval from the NC Utilities Commission.
Arboretum Apartments LLC aquired the Arboretum Aparments in May 2014. Arboretum Apartments billed residents for water and sewer service in July and August of 2014. Bills were for usage back to June 1, 2014.
As of August 28th, 2014, Arboretum Apartments does not have a Certificate of Authority from the NC Utilities Commission to bill for water and sewer.
Question for Arboretum Apartments. Did you illegally bill residents of Arboretum Apartments for water and sewer from June 1, 2014 through July 31st 2014?
