Arcadia Financial, LTD ripoff I have dealt with for four years Carol Stream Illinois

I have been dealing with these idiots for 4 years now. I lost a $2,000.00 dollar a year part time job and my wife racked up $90,000.00 in medical bills, so we were forced to file bankruptcy.

We kept our car and Arcadia lowered our interest rate for us. (How Nice). Now 2 years later I am looking to buy another car. To my surprise Arcadia has not reported to the credit people for over two years. Thank god I still have the car to prove I am making payments along with payment records.

The last car dealer I talked to wanted to get the payoff balance on my loan. They called Arcadia and they were told that there is no balance due on my loan. This was told to two dealers. I even got on the phone and was told the same thing. Now I am told that there is a balance due. Somewhere in the range of $11,000.00 to 14,000.00 for a $16,000.00 car bought four years ago. This balanace never goes down. We don't receive payment books or balances due after we do make payments. We are told that Arcadia does not have to send this information nor do they have to report to the credit agencies.

Right now I have to hide my car from the repo man until I get this straight. I do want to get involved in any class action against Arcadia if any. Please any info on how to deal with them.
