I needed some items to complete the outfit I had chosen for my wedding day. I placed an order online with Arcane Fantasies on 6-1-08 and also sent an email letting them know that the wedding date was 7-19-08. According to the shipping information provided on the site the item would take about 2 weeks to arrive.

After 3 weeks had passed I became concern and started sending worried emails, asking when the item would ship (because their "track your order" service showed my ship date as "TBA"). I called the 800# provided by the website and it was a phone number for a fax machine. I explained to the company that at this point I just wanted a refund, because I have found an alternative item. I received no response.

I contacted the Michigan BBB to try to get some assistance with getting a refund. They were unsuccessful as well. I send a letter certified. Still no response. Then I noticed a local Michigan number on my order confirmation email, so I took a change a called it. The number was for a pager for Jody Fontuck (not sure on the spelling). The recording stated that the mailbox was full and that I could leave a call back number. I left my number and within minuets a woman called me back.

She stated that my request to cancel my order was received and that a refund was issue. She said that it would take 24-48 to see the refund, which would put it around Tuesday the following week. That was a month ago, and to date I have never received the refund I was promised.

Now when I call the local pager number, I receive no return call. I have tried calling from several phones, but no response. I believe that she isn't going to return any calls from my area in fear that it is me again asking for my refund. My wedding has now come and gone, and while it was only a $55 purchase, I am still upset that last minuet arrangements had to be made because of this company. I ended up paying more for a rushed order to get it in time.

I would like to warn all of the consumers out there not to purchase from this company. I have also seen items listed by this same company on eBay. Please be warned, my purchase was small, but I am sure that they would easily take the money from a larger order as well.
