Arctic Ease is represented as a therapeutic cold wrap that replaces ice therapy. The product is manufactured by a company named Gawi from Paterson, NJ based on internet and trademark research.  It has the same mailing address as another company in Paterson, NJ called Dillon Yarn.

The Arctic Ease wrap that I purchased from Amazon was nothing more than a stretched out wet bandage.  I ordered and received this product from Amazon last week after reading what I believed were unsolicited triathlete and runner reviews, now I have to wonder if these reviews were paid or other.  The product did not even come close to the various reviews.  my experience was similar to Amazon reviewers.

It appears that Arctic Ease -Gawi - Dillon Yarn makes an inferior product today, despite new packaging based on Amazon and other older reviews.  Based on the trademark data, Gawi aka Dillon Yarn bought the technology in late summer 2013 and it appears that shortly thereafter they changed the product and/or lost all quality control.

As a dedicated "weekend" athletetwo has your typical age related injuries I would recommend another cold wrap or simple ice from your freezer, which is basically free.  You will get a far better result and save yourself $15.

I contacted the company for a refund and to date have received no response, I anticipate that I will not hear from them since they have not responded to others.

The owners of Arctic Ease - Gawi should be ashamed of themselves for ripping off the American consumer.  Do not support this company with your money, they are nothing but a rip off.
