Ardent Property Management : crooks, thieves, con artists Ardent Property Management & Fieldstone Trace Apartments charged excessive move out charges Columbus Ohio

We recently moved from Fieldstone Trace Apartments and they tried to scam us by making up charges that had to be paid or the bill would be turned over to collections.  We cleaned the apartment before turning in the keys and we offered to go on a walk through with the leasing agent but she refused.  After a few weeks we received a bill for several hundred dollars in bogus charges.  Ardent listed a torn screen (bogus), cleaning fees (bogus) and even stooped so low to pretend that they out of the goodness of the hearts paid utility bills on our behalf even though they were never requested to do so.  When asked to provide copies of the utility bills they refused.  We bought a condominium from Village Communities (also an Ardent company) and have had multiple issues beginning immediately after moving in.  The condo was in the neighborhood of $250K and should have been in good working order since it is brand new.   They lied about the completion date and were 3 months late in getting the build completed.

This company is the worst in delivering customer service that I have ever known.  Their corporate officers and key employees should be behind bars.  Lets do what we can to spread the word to prevent others from fraud and hopefully run these con artists out of town.
