Good afternoon guys, I am writing this report to inform others not to buy anything from Area Circulation Inc. the reason is because I was having the same problem that a fellow client had after I read it in the internet from Nathan from Great Falls, Montana. I was able to pay the price but I decided to opt out after 1 day of accepting the deal. I called and the number is 1-800-324-9452 for customer service for those who wish to call if you guys have the same problem. I recommend not calling the Arizona number. Well, in my case I was given the same response that Nathan received as in reducing the price from $74.74 to $44.00 monthly. The person who I spoke to was Steve. Maybe Steve spoke to Nathan. When I called, it took me 5-6 minutes to get an answer from customer service. Anyways when I spoke to Steve I told him that I wanted ato cancel the account and that I wanted a refund because I had a second though well he was telling me that he could make it easier for me to lower the price and I told him that I just called to cancel the magazines and he kept telling me that its a good deal and that I shouldn't have a problem paying it. One thing that threw me off was that Steve told me that If one of the reasons that I decided to leave was if someone told me about it and I said no that I just had second thoughts. And then he said "oh I will cancel your account please wait a minute" so I waited for almost 2 minutes and then he hanged up on me. I said to myself thats bad customer service. So I called again after 3 times and waiting for a long time to get an answer until finally a nice lady which I forgot her name gave me a hand. She was the opposite of Steve and she was glad to cancel my account. She said that she had already cancelled my account and that it all depends on my bank to see when I get the refund because it was already processed. So I have 24 hrs to see if I get a refund back. So the only thing I can say to you guys is to call the 1-800 number not the Arizona number which I did at first. So I will check back with you guys to see if I was given a refund back. I hope Rachel reads this columm so she can call the number that I provided so she can be given a refund. I wish you luck Rachel and I hope that you get this message. Wish me luck. God bless you.

Since the person filing this was promptly taken care of after they called our main number, I understand that they will probably not be responding to this forum.

But I'd like to conclude by saying we've investigated and responded to the problem he had with the 'Arizona number', and our affiliates have been notified of changes we are making that will make sure customer response is number one on the list of priorities.

To re-iterate our situation, we purchase contracts and magazines up front, investing a large amount of money into a customer, with one thing in mind: Make the customer happy.

We literally do not make money on initial sales (yes, I'm serious, it's a fact of life in a rough business), and we count on happy customers renewing subscriptions in order to make a profit.

Unhappy customers cause us to lose money in a huge way, so to us a happy customer is gold, and an unhappy customer is absolutely not acceptable if we are to remain profitable.

If you have ANY problems, write to me at accountant@areacirculation.net, and I will personally take care of you. As the Director of IT (5 months now), our internet reputation and presence is my responsibility.

You as the customer are the most important person in the world to us. You are what makes us tick if we can make you happy by selling magazines at an incredible discount.

Call us as much as you like and change magazines, call us if you have any questions, and call us just to say hello if nothing else.

We ARE sorry it does take 8-12 weeks for the first magazines to arrive. We can't do anything about that, but we sure will check your account and tell you where things stand any time you like. And if you want a single point of contact that will take care of you personaly, write me at accountant@areacirculation.net.

Because of of the feedback we have since recently discovering the internet complaints, we have revamped our systems and scripts to address absolutely every issue that has come up, even if it is a rare or one time mistake.

It's an ongoing process, but we won't stop trying until we see zero complaints, a lot of happy customers, and profits that tell us we've done our job.

My first reply didn't get posted, so my apologies for the delay.

We are looking into why the Arizona number gave you a problem in cancelling within the first 3 days. The number you called and had no problem is our main office.

Hi guys this is jose from los angeles, california. I just want to let you know that my magazines were cancelled and my money was returned back to me. To make sure I changed my card number from my bank just in case. I still get calls from the company to see if i want to buy magazines. In which I dont. I recommend that you call the number that I gave so you guys can cancel the magazines. I know that some of you might think that I work for area circulation inc. but in reality I dont I am just an ordinary guys like the rest of you who got ripped off as well. The only thing that I can suggest is to keep calling.
