This company called me around 6:30 PM. They said that I have been selected through the VISA credit card company to be a finalist in the drawing of 1,000,000 dollars. I was very excited and wanted to know more. They then went on to tell me that I would receive a giftcard for me to have a 3 day stay in a luxurious hotel within 20 locations: hotels such as the marriott, the hilton, and the sheraton and the expenses would be on them. Then they said that would be receiving paid subscriptions to magazines such as Marie Claire and Seventeen Magazine. Their only request was that I pay 1.50 a week for the Weekly magazine.
Originally it would have been $3.45 a week but because I was a student I received a discount. Then I was to hang up and a second representative was to call me to verify my information. They did and I actually had a gut feeling that this was bad, but after the lady on the phone reassured me that this company was "legit" and she gave me all of the information for the company along with her name and company phone number. They asked then for a relative or friend's name so that if I had received one of the big prizes and was not able to be reached they could then call them so they could claim my prize. Then I was to hang up again and a third caller was to call to verify my address.
They called and when I asked to cancel everything they then went on to tell me that the first payment was already taken out of my account. When I told them that the lady did not inform me of this they said that since they do not promote cancellations she was not supposed to tell me unless I asked. Now, if someone is messing in my account I would expect for them to tell me these details and also to tell me that there was no refund. Nobody informed me of any of this information.
I'm warning you all do not fall for this company. I called my banking services and requested a new card and number right then and there. The third lady said that she would call me back because she had to start the tape over because it was recording...(I did not understand that but said ok). She never called me back. When asked what I was going to do if I won the one million dollars I said pay for my school tuition and they said good. NO not at all. A total ripoff...Don't fall for it.

Call them and make a lawyer threat and they have to cancel your service. At that point I would request a full refund. Don't let them tell you anything else about doing a service inquiry or anything that they may offer. You want a full refund by credit card.
