I worked for this company for over two years. At first, I loved it! The hours were super flexible and I enjoyed the people I worked with, even though it was a remote position. But as time went on, the true colors of the company were crystal clear. I had to deal with getting paid with paper checks with them claiming that direct deposit was not available due to us being independent contractors.

That’s crazy because I’ve worked as an independent contractor before and have gotten paid via direct deposit. Even with the paper checks, I stuck with it because the pay was good. But then, the checks started being very late, sometimes even 2-3 weeks late! There were a lot of "empty promises”, with one being a free trip to Las Vegas due to us reaching a case goal.

The trip was postpone and no further word was said about it. Additionally, when the checks were late, we were LIED TO and told that checks had already gone out when in fact, they hadn’t! The final straw was when they took two months to pay me due to them having financial issues! TWO whole months!!!!!! The managers had the audacity to tell us (contractors) that they didn’t know when we would be paid, which is highly unacceptable. After numerous unanswered messages (over a week-full of them!) to the managers (with one never responding to me!), my check finally arrived 2 months & 2 weeks later.

It disgusts me how this company had no regard for their contractors and they were content with not paying us for so long. We are real people with REAL obligations and REAL bills. My whole life turned upside down because of this pay issue. I am left with having to get myself out of this financial rut that I am in. This company is the most unprofessional, incompetent, unethical, and unorganized company that I have ever worked for. The only good thing out of my experience here is that I did obtain valuable experience. But, other than that, I wish I never wasted two years of my life dealing with this company and all of the headache it offered!
