Arizona Automotive Institute LIER'S... They promised to help you get a job but most welding jobs I'm finding want 2 years experience. But the school tells you that they will still hire you with only a year of experience. They LIED I still have no job after I graduated back in June 19th 2015 Glendale Arizona

I entered into the combination welding course at AAI on 9/14.  I realized this school is a joke to late.The welding lab is a joke. It's too small not enough equipment, and your rushed through your assignment. Most of the other students in this school are drunks, and drug addicts.Sad thing is that It wasn't uncommon.I should have researched the welding program because the certification they offer is thru the NCCER Nationa Center for Construction Education and Research; I found only 3 state recognizes the NCCER card what a joke. Real welding certification comes from the AWS. American Welding Society. Plus if you had to get the loans that they set up are some crazy thing because they have it split calling it subsidized & unsubsidized were in one hand you get some money paid to you but it's not the full amount plus they split it in 4 amounts of $250 for a total of $1,000.00. that was the subsidized now for the unsubsidized they tell you that the loan doesn't cover what is left making it were you are short $1,000.00 so now you have a monthly payment to pay while going to the school.  If you are like me and fall behind on the payment they will not give you the graduation tools as promised tell you pay it off. What pissed me off was they wouldn't take that first amount  and off set from the second amount so that I don't get any money & have no payment as well. Plus every school I talk to as well as people telling me why can't your school help you find more and better loans that would have put money in my pocket to pay bill or whatever needed. My girl friend got $4,000.00 in one check amount from her school loans and a second one of $2,000.00. She had no payments to make either. She went to a 2 year med. school (Pima) The students there were clean if someone thinks or believes you are on drugs or have alcohol in your system. They have you take a drug test right then. If dirty you are dropped from the school and are unable to return. So why is it that a school like that drug test but AAI won't; they talk about safety but were is it safe having drunks welding. I'm shocked that the school hasn't blown up yet.
