I am a victim of the Arizona Illegal child support scam. I have found out that there are possible hundreds if not thousands of Americans like myself that have been taken and our legal rights denied. If you feel that in any way you are a victim of this Arizona scam , you need to file a Rip-off Report and if any one one you might know that is having any legal problems with the Arizona D.E.S or the Attorney Generals office to also report that on this site. Rip-off Report will bring us together once there are enough of us to interest authorities or a private attorney to go after them.
CONTACTS WOULD BE THE a.c.l.u , AND THE F.B.I., your state Congressman . The can be found in your local phone book or on the Internet. I am shocked at how many people I talk to that has had some bad experiences with these people , I even talked to a local District Attorney and his reply was yes there is a problem in Arizona good luck , well that isn't the correct answer I want to hear. Do not contact any state government as this is clearly a Federal crime. I personally have been scammed out of over $3,000.00 to date and they are still thumbing there noses at me and my Attorney after over 6 months. Stand up for your rights and let your voice be heard all of the way to Washington D.C. Do me and yourself a favor and send as many e-mails to as many people as you can and you will be shocked of how many responses you get . SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR ???

I am in the same boat! They are STILL taking my money and the order has been paid in the state of Iowa. Just got out of court LAST MONTH and they taked on another judgement and took off $30,000 in interest I DID NOT OWE, and called it a day..... I am not done and my EX just keeps on taking the money and says he is doing me a favor, The kids are 20 and 21 live on their own! This has financially and emotionally drained me I am surprised I have remained so calm.

Do you have supporting documentation to prove the payments you made? Receipts? prior statements or printouts?
If you made your C/S paymnts by check, perhaps you could ask for check copies from your bank so you can reconstruct your payments and prove the state wrong.
Granted, it could cost you a few bucks depending on how far back you have to go in requesting duplciate statements or check copies, but it may very well be worth it if you are still getting dinged for child support.
Unfortunately, I don't think the FBI will be of any help to you, unless you have irrefutable proof of illegal conduct.
So far, all we readers know here is that your figures don't reconcile with the state's figures. That doesn't necessarily show intent to defraud or a violation of your civil rights.
If you could somehow provide supporting documentation for your payments, you could then show DES or the AG's office where their errors in calculation are.
Good luck to you, Bruce/Gene

responding to consumer . what is the ripoff or crime

I guess I didn't say what my case is about. I have payed off my child support in 2005 and the des and the attorney generals office have changed the print outs for the payments I have made, and 'wa la' now I owe over $7,000.00 and also interest and charges.
I have been trying for 7 months to get the wage garnishment stopped and no luck yet, so I have to quit my job just to stop the theft. Great I have been at this job for almost 3 years. I do have the 2005 print out of my payments and the 2006 print out and they don't match at all.
My attorney asked me what is going on and I said that is what I hired you for. If anyone can give me a proper direction I would greatly appreciate it. I am thinking the FBI next?
