I am a 67 year old male who lost his job and is looking for another job. I seen a large ad in the Chicago Tribune stating that Arlington Nissan (Bob Rohrman Group) was looking for people, On Sunday 4/18/10. The ad said they were looking for 15 plus salespeople, with no experience needed. I went for a interview on Monday 4/19/10. One of the questions asked seemed odd at the time, I was asked, if my car broke down, could I afford $7 to $800.00 to repair it ? I said it would be tough, but I could do it if I had to. I was told to report for training Wednesday 4/20.10 at 9 am. The training mostly consisted of Pete (the trainer) telling us how rich he is. His 1.2 million dollar home, his rolex watches, his 44' yacht, his antique car collection and his 40' moterhome, which he showed us pictures of.

All of his money made by working in the auto sales industry. At the end of the day about 6:30 pm. we were told to bring in $200.00 in cash (no checks accepted) to continue the training. We were told this was to show that we are really interested in becoming salespeople and we would be reimburst within a short period of time. At the time of the interview, we were told we would get $600.00 per week for 2 weeks and then $400.00 a week untill we got over the hump. When we signed all the paper work, after Pete was gone, it said we would get only $300.00 per week for only 2 weeks, then go on a draw on future commissons after that. I can't stand up for all the hours they demand from me (2 complete hip replacements) I was told by other salespeople these training classes go on every 22 days. I seen the same ad last Sunday 4/25/10 for Gurnee VW. I would like to get my money back and warn the public of the deceptive practices going on at the Bob Rohrman Group stores.

PETE, THIS IS A "SCAM" THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON IN THE CAR BUSINESS FOR MANY YEARS. YOU CAN EVEN READ ABOUT HOW THE "SCAM" WORKS BY.....

AUTHOR: Karl - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, May 02, 2010

'Googling' this- RIP OFF REPORT PRIORITY TOYOTA SCION AUTOMAX, and read Steve's Ripoff Report from August of 2007.

Unfortunately, Illinois is one of the most CORRUPT states, according to an FBI agent who was seen on TV in December of 2008 regarding the 'Rod Blagojevich incident'.

So sending your complaint to the Illinois State Attorney's office will most likely get you nowhere.

Try exposing your story to all of your Local TV stations in the Chicagoland area. Maybe one of them will help you, and it would also help the innocent people in the Chicagoland area who might fall for this "SCAM" in the future.

Good luck.

P.S. Mail a copy of your Ripoff Report to all of your Local TV Investigative Reporters at all of the TV stations in Chicago, along with your contact info. Who knows, maybe someone will help you and all the others that have lost money.

*You can even contact the IRS and let them know that these people are demanding CASH instead of checks or credit cards. (It could be that they are DEFRAUDING the IRS, right?)
