Armik Shananian took an upfront deposit for half of the price of new granite countertops for 2 of our bathrooms. Unfortunately we gave him a check and he went right to the bank and cashed it. He continually made excuses about why he could not come out to get our job done. He was constantly lying and making up stories. Finally we had to hire someone else to do the job.

After months of calling and trying to get our money back we still have not received any refund. His last story was he would submit it to his insurance company and that should take a week or two. (That was in February of 2008).

This man is a compulsive liar and thief. I recommend you don't hire him for anything. His website says he is bonded/licensed etc. not true! I looked on the licensed contractor website for the state of California and they are not listed. It does show Armik Shananian having an old license with another company name, but it expired years ago.
