arrowhead honda/ service rep: david mcguire women get ripped off when it comes to car repairs it wasn't til i took a man to speak for me that they would listen my car has been there since June 10th still not fixed and i payed them 2500.00 its been there 4 times for same reason i have and autistic child and i need my own car i am on a second rental and my child can't take change very well. HELP ME PLEASE! peoria arizona

my car has been at the dealer since june 10th. i took it in that moring for overheating, engine light, and hard crank to start my car. i have to pushe the gas to ground so it can stay on so that am david called me and said it would cost me 1500.00 to fix it. it needed the motor fan and egr and recomended a valve ajustment for the car since it is about 13yrs old so i said yes over the phone and he called me said it was fixed and picked up closing same day.

david mcquire was nice at first until i called him same afternoon and told him my car was still having the crank starting problem and i came straight from dealer to put gas and i was not happy after all the money i spent on repair. i took my car back to them on fri june 14th because i had to be at jurry duty and i was picked for trial but fri was my day off and he said he was off thurs and fri am would be fine. So he called me fri am after checking car and said i needed a fuel pump and it would be about 600.00 to fix it and i said ok.

again I need my car for my autistic child who is always with me in his comfort zone and not in a rental, change is not very good for them . and picked up sat pm well it was fine til that night it started to do the same thing when i started it but now it was worse it left me. i had to call my husband to help me started up again and by this time i didn't call i showed up early mondy but this time i took my husband because i felt i was taken advantage and he made me pay for repairs my car didn't need because it was still having same problem for which i brought my car in for the 1st time. my husband spoke with him and then everything changed he was nicer and said he wouldn't charge us another penny because it was not fixed the 1st time and this time he offered a rental that i had for almost 2wk. david called and said the car needed new injectors and that they would pay for one because car was reading a misfire 1 cylynder and that we would have to pay for the other three and it would be 500 out the doo. that is what my husband and david agreed on not another penny. so then picked up car july 1st brought it home and that same day later on it still didi the same crank start that they said the injectors would take care of it.  now i have paid them 3times total of 2500.00 or so and my car had to go back a 4th time for same problem and got a second rental car no charge againd and i still have the rental going on 2months . but after the 4th visit to dealer the had the car for almost a week and a half and they finaly called to say that one of my spark plug is bad for the misfire reading but that the mechanic could not take them off  because who ever worked on car put them in tight and they didin't want to take responibility for the head if one broke. david said i can come pick up car and they will give me 4 spark plugs and that there is nothing else they can do for me. so at this point i said ok and i called my husbands friend to go with me because my husband travels sometimes for his job and needed help. david thought i was there to pick up car but dan our friend talk to him and said we wanted our money back for labor and the car and they could have rental back but since his manager was gone it was 4th of july weekend he got him on the phone and if it wasn't for dan who is a man david wouldn't have said to us that they want the chance to fix car before any money will be considerd for refund and what do you know they can get an outside auto place can take off spark plugs and they will replace and fix the car and it would not cost me anything that is what david said to dan and i when we were there on july 3rd he said keep rental and car will have to wait til monday because of the holiday.

after almost a week and a half i get a call from david, said the mechanic wants us to come see what the problem with the car is and when we got there on sat july 20th and when we got three the spark plugs still in and the head of the car was out of the car with out my approval because david never said they were taking the head out he said they were going to put the 4 spark plugs and that would fix the problem but now he wants to charge me 300.00 for this because the valves are leaking.well he recomended the valve ajustment so they were there but he had me change parts just assuming the problem will be fixed but after 4 times there is something very wrong with the recomendations and with me paying for a service that was never rendered and with the way david made me feel being a women with no car repair 101 he took advantage of that. but taking a man to speak for you changed the way i was treated and the way they wanted to handle the repair of my car we are no almost 2month into this repair please help me my autistic son needs your help to get back to his routine and it would help me be back in my car.

car finally ready

today it was 10 to6:00pm and i know the dealer closes at six so since i didn't get phone call from dave the service man who is helping me i called him and even though i left him a message to call me when he got back from his days off i had to again call him after 2wks of having my car in the dealer. we spoke over the phone and he said he just got my keys and that the car is ready and that i had to pay 350.00 for just the parts again after he had talk with my husband and he said he will not give him another dime. well just like we all know now he is triying to let me have my car back and no other fees collected and there will be no warranty on the entire repair or i pay the 350.00 and the car will be in warranty i will pick up car tomorrow i just hope it is fix but not sure if i will pay them another dime we will see will post the outcome tmr
