ARS - Associate Recovery Systems ARS Had Misunderstanding, could not show me proper documentation , Rude , refused to play back phone conversation Escondido, California 92046-9046, Tennessee

I began receiving payment receipts with the wrong balance amount. Called in just to verify the amount of the Balance. They had been sending me the Balance of my Credit Card Debt, instead of the Balance of my Credit Card Settlement. Once we cleared that out the way, before we hung up he stated the amount i owed on the settlement, and i said no sir thats incorrect. They had me down for paying $200 a month for ten months, when i remembered it as $200 a month for 8 months. Being that the conversation was over 3 months ago, i said well can you all just pull up the phone conversation so i can be sure of what was said, I was willing to agree with the payment arrangement if i just misunderstood what the woman said. I was put on hold for a VERY long time. A "supervisor" got on the phone rudely throughout the whole conversation. Long Story short, they refused to let me hear the phone conversation stating the conversation was "secured". My only problem was that, I have no control of what the representative types in, but I need to HEAR what i said, and what i agreed to. In my opinion i think it was a misunderstanding, which in these cases it can happen. I'm trying to be responsible and pay for my debts that i created as a young irresponsible adult. But I refuse to be disrespected and taken advantage of just because this company doesnt want to be responsible for a mistake that they made!! I called my bank and told them to stop the post dated checks and to not allow them to withdraw from my account. I feel like im in a lose lose situation, i really would like to get this balance cleared from my name, but at this point i just feel so disrespected. I dont know what my next step should be. I called Capital One but they sent me back to ARS and i refuse to do business with them, until they pull up that phone conversation. If anyone knows what i can do, any advice is appreciated.
