On 8/4/05, I ordered the Saudi Arabic Language Course offered at the top of this web page: maps2anywhere.com/Languages/Saudi_Arabic_language_course.htm . The web page specifically states: "Text in Arabic & Roman transcription."

However, when the product FINALLY arrived last week (several weeks, and with them failing to return my inquiry calls and e-mails when I never even received an order confirmation), I found that the product has NO Arabic text in it at all, period.

The manufacturer's web site, however specifically states: "Text in Roman transcription. No Arabic script." Of course, I did not know the manufacturer's name until I received the product.

When I complained to the vendor about the misrepresentation, he told me it was too bad and told some stupid story about crawling around in the desert and being charged for water. He stated that the manufacturer had told him that it came with Arabic text.

This is a lie, as can be seen on the manufacturer's web site. And even IF he had the incorrect belief that the text contained Arabic, he STILL misrepresented it to me and everybody else on the internet, and should have taken responsibility for it. I merely requested a discount, but he refused.
