Arturo and Mike Sanchez Remodeling Sandra Sanchez DFW Remodeling Took $30k, trashed house, walked off job, blamed me Plano TX

I honestly thought other ripoff reporters were writing my story with Mike Sanchez and son Arturo. I was desperate to get help after another contractor stole my mothers antiques. Mike came recommended and at first seemed helpful. He showed me pictures of completed jobs. I originally wanted him to paint walls and redo floors in my parents Plano home.

He began work around May 2017. He got maybe 3 out of 5 rooms painted and some tile work in bathroom. He convinced me I should remodel the whole house and thus wanted more money. Given that he's so friendly and talks a good game, I agreed. I paid him $30k over next 6 weeks. He walked off job around June 23rd claiming I was at fault for complicating the "contract." Completely trashed the house. Left 4 -5 tons of debree from brick columns in dining room.

Unbelievable mess-- left trash, work boots-- the pictures I have are sickening. He never produced the flooring I supposedly bought. As late as November 2017 he met with my husband and a realtor promising to finish the job. He always claimed that he was doing insurance jobs in Wichita Falls that kept him away. I finally sold the house to investors for much less. But I was ready to leave this nightmare. Reading these reports I realize this is a pattern of fraud.
