 In January 2013 I purchased a sofa bed at the Sunrise location of Ashley Furniture. The sofa was delivered as promised.

After a few months I noticed the cushions starting to sink into the frame afer using. The cushions also began to bulge and not hold the shape. I contacted Ashley vis the web site. They responede that the Florida stores were owned and operated by City Furniture. I contacted them and at first spoke to a very non concerned so called customer service supervisor. At first they wanted a $50 service fee to come out. I complained to no avail. After a few days I did recieved a call from a much nicer lady who agreeded to send a tech out at no charge.

He came to my home to discover that the bed part of the sofa was built too low causing the cushions to sink. He did say he could attempt to rase the bedframe. He also agreeded that this should not happen. I refused any adjustment as I felt the sofa priced at $1,000 was of very poor quality and I was not al all happy with it. He got another so called customer service supervisor on the phone who informed me that they could adjust and I could take that or nothing. I chose the nothing.

I sent in a complaint to th Better Business Bureau and explined the situation.

I recieved a respones from City Furniture. They stated that they came out and attempted to adjust the sofa and I refused.

They also stated that sofa beds did not have the support of a regular sofa causing the cusions to sink. I have never owned a sofa bed and this was never explained to me when I purchased it. They have no concern for my concern and could seem to care less about my feelings.

I can not even use the sofa and I am out lots of money for a worthlees very poorly constructed sofa. Where is the customer loyalty and service. It is hard to understand how thay can operate a business this way. I have a valid complaint and they are not willing to stand behind their products. I did not accept the response and I will continue to vioce my dissatisfaction unti they replace the sofa with another one.

I also sent a letter to the Founder CEO and had no response from him.

 Your complaint is not valid in the fact that they are not the ones who use it and they are not the ones responsable for your problem. That would be on the manufacturer. You need to have THEM address this issue. They are right a sofa bed doesnt have the same type of support that a regular box spring mattress has. One point is that they DID NOT use it. Second point, unless you have a exstended warrenty then them helping you is WAY beyond on what THEY ARE LEGALLY ALLOWED TO DO!!

There are many ways your sofa bed would still be usable. But I have the feeling that I would be wasting my energies as you are nothing but a self entitled idjit who thinks the rules of the world do not apply to them. You are well beyond the timeframe to get a refund. You are NOW a cyber bully. You made a scene and threatened them for what is YOUR PROBLEM. You are lower then low. Scum looks down on you. Youre supposed to be an adult but your acting like a spoiled teenage girl. You want your way and you dont care WHO suffers for you to get your way.

This is the problem with the american consumer....sheer stupidity reigns supreme.
