Ashton Woods Homes Unethical Scottsdale Arizona

Ashton Woods sub-contractors damaged my curtains while performing work in my home. I was told by their service rep. no problem give us the receipt from the dry cleaners and we'll reimburse you. I did.

They also told me they would pay to have one of my windows that they had to replace re-tinted. I had my tint company fax them the estimate and was told I would receive payment.

I was just informed by their service rep. who was clearly uncomfortable telling me this that he had my checks for the two items listed above. I said great bring it on by, he said "well in order for me to hand these checks over to you, we would need you to sign off on the rest of the work that we have done and will be doing on your home."

Professionalism at its best from Ashton Woods in Phoenix. The work that they have yet to perform on my home is all still under warranty. Why would I sign off on something that was totally irrelavant to my damages.

If you are thinking about working with this builder or buying a home from them, I strongly advice you to think again. You see, my entire community has had their share of Ashton Woods "Professionalism" if you know what I mean.
