Pursuant to H.R.5111 - Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016 I am posting publicly my experience with Aspen Dental of Klamath Falls Oregon. A full account of my story can be found at twothirtydentalcaution.org but just yesterday I made an appointment to have my tooth extracted because I just can't stand the pain anymore.  Turns out while I've been waiting on my insurance company, the OR Dentistry Board and the one dentist I chose to evaluate the problem (he took his sweet time believe me) my little tooth has developed an infection that went unnoticed by the dentist who I hired to assess the damage to my tooth.  THANKFULLY the dentist I found was ETHICAL and competent.  He didn't look at me and tell me my bleeding gum was normal, and really just a little bit anyway.  He didn't tell me the tooth Aspen Dental placed was fine.  He didn't tell me that I'm just upset with Aspen, therefore I don't like my tooth.  NOPE, he told me the truth: that yes my root was infected, I have a cavity forming at the site where food keeps collecting from a burr on the crown itself, and he told me that I did NOT have to have my tooth extracted because he can fix all of it.

Why have I gone through so much just to get a refund?  Because corporate greed trumps ethics in this world a lot of times; especially with the Aspen Dental Corporation.  Another interesting point is it seems Aspen is a powerhouse in removing negative online reviews.  I'm finding this out as they follow my online trail, and suddenly my comments are gone or not visible on search engines, when just yesterday I checked and they were all there.  What does this tell us?  Aspen Dental of Klamath Falls Oregon and Aspen Dental of Roseburg Oregon just may pay to have their online reviews removed which is why it makes sense now that they have so many positive online reviews.  FYI, there are several companies out there for hire to write super duper online reviews for your business.  What once started out as a very consumer friendly checks and balance system has been hijacked by greed. Now online reviews a lot of times cannot be trusted like they once were as companies decided they didn’t like their disgruntled customers warning the public; it hurts business, donchaknow?

Seems to me it's time to start building a case for a class action lawsuit.  The more people who post their complaints online (you can also post on the website listed above), the more likely it will catch the eye of an attorney who sees potential in this particular dental practice that I have discovered quickly is responsible for hurting a lot of people in our area.

To conclude, although this practice employs licensed dentists, they do NOT do all of the work, but rather pass off advanced responsibilities to their dental assistants (which in some cases is legal in OR to my dismay).  I already had a problem caused by another dentist with this tooth, and naively chose Aspen Dental to repair the work. Had I known an actual dentist would NOT be doing ALL of the work, I never would have walked through the doors that day.  Enter those doors at your own risk if you so choose, but please post your comments as soon as possible if you too have had a bad experience.  If I can warn even one person, preventing them from the tremendous pain and suffering I’ve endured, then I can say at least there is something good to come out of this dental disaster.  Please, don’t become their next victim! It’s not fun; it's extremely painful, at least that was my experience.
