Aspire / CB&T attached a fradulent account on my credit report Atlanta Georgia

Aspire/ CB&T has placed what I believe to be a fradulant credit card account on my credit report. I have never had an aspire credit card in my life nor have I even heard of them.

Apparently the alleged account was established in January of 2000 with a high credit limit of $3000, apparently this account is listed on my credit report as: "closed due to inactivity" yet it shows that there was still a $3664.00 accout balance still owed. which was last reported January of 2006.

I just don't get it, again, I have never ever have heard of this credit card company before. It's funny though ever since I checked my credit report over 2 weeks ago all of a sudden I have been receiving strange phone calls from the is credit card company.

I don't know what is going on here but this is wrong that I have to put up with this, a credit card account that's not even mine, one that I was definitely not aware of until I checked my credit report. I want this matter resolved and taken off my credit since for obvious reasons this is hampering my credit and my credit score.
