Aspire Visa Notice of Termination of Card Program without an answer. Columbus Georgia
*Consumer Comment: Aspire is closing their whole credit card line down...
I have great credit and a credit limit of 5K on my Aspire card I always pay on time. Today I recieve a notice of termination of card program.
I am unable to contact them due to busy signals.
They drop the credit line from 5k to $200.00 and it will be terminated in 2 weeks.
What is up with that without an explantion?

Aspire is closing their whole credit card line down...
AUTHOR: Dray9911 - (U.S.A.)

I checked my balance online and freaked out when my available credit dropped from 1500 to 150. I made a couple of online purchases and thought Aspire put a hold on my account for suspicious activity. I called them earlier today (11/13/08) and the person I spoke with told me they are closing their entire credit card line of business.
I was told I should have received a letter in the mail, but I don't do a good job of checking the mail. I'll definitely stop at the mailbox when I get home from work.
Kind of a bummer since i've had the card for a while without any problems. Not sure how it's going to impact my credit scores, but everybody can relax as Aspire isn't doing anything fishy.
