Asset Acceptance ripoff dishonest credit reporting Warren Michigan

We are writing to complain about the illegal practices of Asset Acceptance Corp. LLC. This organization has purposely and maliciously ruined our credit rating with all the major Credit Bureaus specifically, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion by reporting "bogus", "outdated", "expired" and "false" debt information. They have taken us to "small claims court" only to be told by the presiding judge that they "cannot" collect, yet they persist in their efforts to ruin our credit rating, making harrasing phone calls to my wife's employer demanding to speak with her supervisor (a blatantly illegal practice) and had the "county sheriff" serve her court papers while at her place of employment, causing embarrasment and permanent damage to my wife's reputation.

Asset Acceptance LLC is a "Fraudulent Organization". They specialize in collecting "Zombie Debts". Debts who's "Statute Of Limitations" have long expired. They "Prey" on the poor, the elderly, and especially minorities like blacks and hispanics. They engage in "Flagrant Violations Of Federal Law". Asset Acceptance LLC buys "charged-off" credit card accounts from the original lenders for pennies on the dollar. Then, they use credit scoring and other new technologies to identify which debtors are most likely to pay. In 2002 Asset Acceptance LLC bought $101 million dollars in "old (expired) debt", collecting 5.2 billion dollars from unsuspecting americans. Asset Acceptance LLC believes that "squeezing" even a small payment from these persons can make "illegal"collection activities worthwhile. Asset Acceptance Corp. LLC will go to any lengths to harass people and defraud them. Suing and/or threatening to sue over debts even though the statute of limitations has long expired. Illegally re-aging debts on credit reports. They tell credit bureaus that an old debt is, in fact, a new one. Their goal is to extend the seven-year ative items and put more pressure on the consumer. They lie about the date the debt went delinquent. Asset Acceptance LLC is in "flagrant" violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. We ask that severe sanctions be imposed against Accept Acceptance Corp. LLC.
