Associated Colon and rectal Surgeon ,ACRS, ACRS Dr Suraj Alva from ACRS - Promoting Wrong Billing to consumer Edison, New Jersey

I have visited Associated Colon and Rectal Surgeon (ACRS) with scheduled appointment for PREVENTIVE CARE VISIT for Digital Rectal Exam. Also in the pation information form I mentioned no sickness to me and the visit was purely for preventive care.

Dr Suraj Alva, did some 10 min test and 5 min talk for this preventive care visit and confirmed there is nothing to worry about.

Billing person also confirmed this as preventive care visit.

Surprise came after 2-3 weeks when ACRS has reported this as sick visit for surgery to healthcare provider - which fetches them much more money from Patient, rather than reporting PREVENTIVE care visit which is covered by Health insurance plan and fetches much less profit.

I called up and talked to Dr Suraj with question and asked about it and got directed to billing dept for correction. They never willing to correct their mistake because that prevent them from earning fraudulent more profit.

I gave them written letter in person and asked to confirm receipt of the same. They denied to take any letter in person which I had to fax and I kept every record of communication. Later they sold this Invalid charges account to credit agency Williams/Alexander Associates who even after direct discussion and getting all information LIED to credit beauro that they are not able to reach me. Matter is under investigation.

Please DO NOT go to ACRS - at least for their FRAUDULENT charging to customer KNOWINGLY. I dont have comment on healthcare service as I just received 10 minutes of service. - Billing dept is Fraudulent - Chose any other healthcare services who charge you as they speak. ACRS will tell you one , confirm and then give you surprise.

AVOID this mediocre level healthcare center ACRS. - I am ready to provide any info to anyone who need further. Thanks
