I was led to believe that publishing my short little stories as Exclusive would make me more money. The stories have garnered less than a dollar over the years. I asked nicely if I could have the rights back, as the rights are of no use to Associated Content and they flat out refused with no explanation. I was thinking of publishing an Ebook and would like to use these stories. Associated Content people are unreasonable and not very nice in my opinion. I would ask everyone to think twice before using this site, and never, ever label your work as exclusive, thus giving them the rights to it. It will come back to bite you one day. I would be glad to drop this comment and future comments if they will relinquish. Otherwise it becomes my mission in life to let more and more people know of this rip-off.
Some may say that I am to blame for signing the rights away as exclusive, but it's not like I'm Shakespeare asking for the rights to Hamlet back. These stories are nothing to them. Their petty power trip is everything to them. Perhaps a future 'modernfable' will reference this.

I feel ya. I was a member there for over 3 years and a Top 1000 member. I was rewarded by having my account banned. When I asked why, I was told that I had multiple accounts, which I dont. When I said this must be an error, they ignored me. They refuse to remove content or pay the outstanding performance bonus that they owe. Legal action is the only recourse in my case, and I will definitely follow through. Scum like this deserve to be punished by a heavy hand.

Subsequent to my complaint and request for review, they cancelled my account. They have sent no further communication, so it's anyone's guess what is happening.
