Associated Tax Relief Income Tax Service Paid them $6000, no resolution, couldn't reach them and now I have IDENTITY THEFT in California. Hmmm Los Angeles California

I contacted Associated Tax Relief by phone after seeing a commercial on T.V. here in Glendale AZ regarding our IRS taxes.  They insisted they could help, however, I had to pay them $6000 up front to have taxes done.  I used our, (my husband and I) credit card to pay them the money in December of 2007.  From that point forward I would continually call them to get a status update and progress report  on our taxes and could rarely reach someone by phone.  When I did, the "receptionist" would say the "Attorney" assisting me was out of the office. This continued for years.  finally in April of 2009, my husband and I drove to California to their office and insisted they let us up to their office.  When we got off the elevator to the office, the room was filled with legal box after legal box stacked 3-6 high through out the floor.  We were in disbelief.  We insisted on sitting with an attorney and would not leave until.  They had never even looked at our file or started our taxes.  No resolution was recveived and I finally gave up on them and could not get my money back.  They took $6000 from us.  If there is any kind of legal battle going on regarding Associated Tax Relief I want in.  They are a total rip off.
