Assurant applicance warranty This sold me a warranty for my GE washer and dryer in 2015 after my factory warranty expired. After I paid for the warranty in full ($494) FOR 4 years. in Jan 2018 I had a problem with buttons sticking on my control panel of the washer. I file a claim a local repairman was dispatched to my home(R&R appliance repair service) It was obvious that the servicemen was untrained and had no clue of how to repair washer. After 3 weeks of waiting numerous phone calls. Assurant told me I my warranty was void and would have to pay out of my own pocket. This company will take your money and provide you nothing. Total waste of money. Took my money and did not provide the sevice they promissed.

Assurant is a ripe off.  They use subcontractors who are untrained and unskilled to repair your appliances.  These local company tried to bill me because they say assurant would pay for the service call.  The warranties they are selling is worthless.  This company is stealing consumers money.
