A classic rip-off. I signed up for their services on what I thought was a month-to-month contract. I even asked about the cancellation rules and was told that all I needed to do was cancel 30 day in advance. When winter came and I went in to cancel they informed that I was on a 1 year contract. I had absolutely no idea that I had signed a 1 year contract!!!!! I objected and called the corporate headquarters. No help. It was obvious after talking to the person in customer services that they dealt with this every day and it was their (the company s) policy to do nothing about it no matter how deceitful or misleading the situation was. BEWARE! This is a part of their business plan and they will peruse you!!!!!

I strongly encourage anyone who is currently a member of At The Beach who has a complaint or issue with their membership to contact our Customer Care Center at 866-690-9080 or 866-994-5071. At The Beach is listening to your complaints and our Customer Care Specialists are waiting to work with you to reach a resolution.
