I received an envelope in my mail today addressed to me with no return address. Inside the envelope was a letter stating that I was one of 31 declard winnersof the DE- LOTTO NORTH AMERICAN SWEEPSTAKES LOTTERY ON SHOPPERS held on WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 31st, 2008 in the 2nd category.

There was also a check made out to me in the amount of $4875. The purpose of this FIRST CHECK was for the payment of applicable GOVERMENT TAXES on my winnings.
I was instructed to send $2875 by WESTERN UNION OR MONEYGRAM directly to the goverment tax agent. I was then instructed to keep my winnings CONFIDENTIAL until my claim had been processed and my cash remitted to me as this is part of their security protocol to avoid double claiming or unscrupulous acts by non participants taking advantage of this program.

Luckily I had seen a story on the news not long ago on this so I went straight to the web to check it out.
I really hope someone can put these people in jail for things like this. It is so hard to make ends meet in this economy, and then to have someone preying on innocent people is just horrible.
