Atlantic Financial Is a big rip off Massillion Ohio

I got a van from procar auto in july. It was finianced thru atlantic financial . I set up auto debt at the time I sign the paperwork. The first payment was due sept 2. Sept 3 came I recieved a phone call from atlantic financial stating that the payment had not been made. I told them I did not know what they we're talking about that the payment was set up 2 months before for auto debt. I was told it may be a mistake the person who handles that was off due to the holiday. I called procar to make sure all the paper work was filed on my loan I was insured everything was fine it must of been a tech error not to worry.

Next day I recieve a call again from atlantic financial this time I spoke to the suprviser Dana who was very rude and threating When tired to explain why I thought the payment had already been made she infomed me that if they didn't recieve payment by 7 pm they would repo the van. My wife took a check in for our payment and recieved a reciept for the payment. To our amazment we found that the payment had been auto debted from our account on the same day we took them a check. I stopped payment on the auto debt. And took the paperwork into procar to show them it had been auto debted when atlantic financial said it wasn't. They said they would fax the info to atlantic financial and take care of it.

Then 3 weeks go by the check clears the bank I figured everything was fine. Without calling me atlantic financial called everyone on my referance list telling them it would be in my best interest to call them by 7pm or they would start repo on my van. I called again and talked to Dana who informed me there was a stop payment on my payment and i needed to take care of this by 7pm or else I infomed her I had not stopped payment on anything other that the autodebt and they had recieved a check which cleared for my first payment. She called me a lair and hung up the phone on me . The next day which was a thursday. I called my bank They said the need proof of what atlantic financial was talking about so they could take care of it. I called again talked to Dana who was even more rude when I asked for a copy of the stop payment for my bank she told me they didn't have to provide any type of info to me and to clear the van it was being repoed. The next day a tow truck showed up to take the van. Which wasn't here at the time my wife had takin it to the store. I explained what was going on and they left. My wife came home and called atlantic financial talked to someone other than Dana.

Explained what the bank said and was told Dana was wrong that it did show a payment for sept. Not worry they would take care of it. I made my oct payment early two days later in the middle of the night the van was repo. When i contacted atlantic financial about this I was hung up on called right back and no answer.
