Atlantic Marketing & Research Management Inc. CONGRATULATIONS letter received from company to RIP ME OFF!!! New York New York

I received a letter from Altantic Marketing & Research Management Inc. congratulating me for becoming their newest secret shopper representative in my region. It came with a check for $3,940.55 and a description of what i'm suppose to do with the check. Evaluation Pay, Gap Purchase (anything of my choice), Wal-Mart (anything of my choice) and Money Gram transfer are all things i'm suppose to do once i've cashed the check.

At first i was kind of excited so i called the company and talked to Mike Campbell. He was talking so fast i couldn't understand what he was saying so i told him to have Sandra Anderson call me back, then he hung up. So i took the letter to a co-worker and she said it seemed like a SCAM. So we googled the company name and came across this website with others who have received the same letter. I'm going to contact my local police and see what they say.
