Atlas Roofing roofed my house after Hurricane Ike and this April, the flat roof over my garden room began to leak profusely, eventually bring the sheetrock down. Going to the attic, I noticed water running in around the chimney. We have been in drought conditions basically since the hurricane, so the chance to catch poor workmanship was delayed.
Contacting this man is easy as his answering machine promises a speedy return, but he never returns the call. After at least a dozen attempts, I called from another number and left a message that I heard they did good work, I was desperate and had cash.
Mr. Leo William Scheidler 281-779-3263 called back within 5 minutes.
When I told him who I was he promised to have a man out the next day, but no one showed.
Two days later I actually got him on the phone and he said "his man" had to make a trip to League City and then would be over. Nope.
I have called at least 4 times a day and left my name, address, and phone number, but no one has returned the call.
I called at 0500 and his wife "Olga" answered the phone and took down my information and promised her husband would call me back "when he woke up". That was two days ago and no calls, even though I have called 6 more times and left messages.
According to his rebuttal above he is innocent of wrong doing, but all evidence points to him being a conman, who endorses shoddy workmanship, does not back up warranties and is an outright liar.
I will continue to call day and night until the end of time and pursue this man in court with everything that is in me until he makes good his work.
I also run the crime watch in my neighborhood and with over 500 homes, I am actively seeking out anyone else who used Atlas Roofing and has a complaint.

i was the employee who was sent to check the roof of mr marshell the problems he was having where not covered under his contract orhis warranty and seeing as he is the only one on here complaining and we do over 25 roofs per week wich i handle the warranty of i would be more than glad to say he is full of shxt we have done several thousand roofs and workfor companies such as walmart target other state and county agencies and we have had 2 or 3 complaints in over 7 years that is incredible most people would be happy to have that record but unfortunitaly you have people who there cats cant keep happy and they go on kindergarden rampages in the end we always win by showing our customers the volume of work and the quality and that people like this are one in a thousand

Follow-up on Atlas Roofing Company rip-off in Baytown

Mr. Leo William Scheidler 281-773-3372 changed his phone number. He sent a contract company to my house and they repaired the leak on the chimney, but the flat roof has not been addressed or the ceiling that caved in under that roof. I am still waiting to connect or get a return call from this con man unscrupulous roofer - Mr. Leo William Scheidler
I've called him repeatedly Contacted 5-16-2009 again 5-18-2009, 5-26-2009, 6-2-09, 6-3-2009,
6-5-2009, 6-8-2009 with no success. Beware of this company. They do NOT honor their warranty or keep their promises.
