in 2004 i opened a cell phone contract with cingular wireless, a family plan, i was told i could add new lines at any time. some time later i added 2 new lines for my young daughters, after many months of non-use i called to see if i could eliminate the lines, seeing how my contract was more than 2 years old. theytold me there would be a early termination fee of 175.00 per phone, because when i added the 2 new lines to my "family plan" it opened a new contract.

i was never told that a new contract would ever come into effect at any time. not only did they charge me for the 2 lines i add, but they also charged me for the 2origionaal linesthat were over 4 years old at the time, also the rebates on the origional phones were never ever applied, i have never benn late with my bill and have been paying the termination fee each month, which apparently is not good enough for them, at leat $100.00 a month, or more.

in jan.this year i sent 2 payments, one for $100.00 and another for $125.00 so they, at&t sent me to their collectioon agency cca, which is the most untrained rudest company i ever delt with, i tried 2 times to straighten this matte r out with them and was treated with disrepect and they kept threatening me with how they would destroy my credit rating. i have paid off att and this cca company. but i will do anything i can to degrade at&t everychance i get, i have sent a letter to nys atty. gen nd have taken an add in area news papers.

you would think that a company the size of at&t would at least listen to the customers and try tto work things out to acceptible solution for everyone, just another case of ruthless large company bullying the littel guy. it was reallytoo bad, i would still be a good customer paying my bill on time every month. for who knows how many years, if they would have just terminated the 2 lines in question without a fee because of the so called new contract that they so underhandedly opened for me. but it is obviously true that they don't care about their good paying customers. larry ****

obviously they just don't give a d**n about their good paying cuatomers.
