AT&T long distance Made big promises to earn my business. AND LIED LIED LIED Aurora Illinois

I called at&t about some calls on my bill. They were not my long distance carrier,the calls were from a pay phone.They were so nice, they told me if I would switch my long distane to their company they would take care of those charges.

I agreed to this and was told they would be removed. Almost a year later my local company sent me a notice that if I did not take of the outstanding account they were going to turn off my phone. The 40.89 was coming back to haunt me.

AT&T was billed on my local carrier they paid at&t and were never rembursed for it.I called them about 15 times they admitted that it had happened before. They said their employees were paid on comission and some of them made promises they could not keep, admitting all of this they told me SORRY BUT WE CAN"T HELP YOU.

I tried for weeks to resolve this, but I'm going to have to pay them anyway. I think this is bad business to run a company this way. They will never get my business again, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!
