I was called this morning by a guy who said he was officer Robert White, and he was at the Dallas county police department to issus me a arrest warrant. He than told me to call a Sam Wilson the Attorney General of California State at 818-813-6137. he said if I did not call in 30 minutes i would be arrested. After I called "Sam Wilson" he started saying if I did not pay Cash Advance he was going to issue an arrest warrant, and I wuold be arrested before the end of the day. When I tried to explain to him that I have not borrow any money for Cash Advance, but they scamed me out of over $2100 dollars in July of last year. He got very upset and told me not to call back and that I'm going to be arrested. Their need to be a law but in place to stop this kind of harassment.

ON 8/13 MY HUSBAND GOT A CALL FROM A MAN SAYING THAT HE WAS GOING TO BE ISSUED A WARRANT AND PUT IN JAIL IF HE DIDN'T PAY ON A TICKET. My husband recently had a traffic ticket so he thought that is what he was talking about but he didn't think he was in trouble from a simple ticket. The man gave him a number to called some Attorney generals office with attorney Sam Wilson. I am debt collector for payday loans and my husband called the number and said that the guy said he owed on a payday loan!! We have not taken out a payday loan and I know you can't be arrested for it!! I grabbed the phone and said "who is this and what kind of scam are you running?" , the guy hung up and will not take our calls!!! Sorry for my bad spelling and grammar, I never write in these type of things but I tried googling to see if this has happened to anyone else and this website cam e up!!

There is a law

You say that there should be a law against this. There is a law. You were scammed/stolen from by these people who intimidated you. They were not law enforcement, and were not the attorney general of any state. You got taken.
A warning to all reading: No real law enforcement officials will ever call you and say that you need to pay them money immediately, or face arrest. It's just an attempt to scare you and get money out of you before you've had time to check on things or think about it.
