Attorney Rick McCague Rick McCague Ripped Off Thousands in Payment Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

Besides that Rick McCague had his license to practice law suspended for a year for smuggling marijuana into a jail and for failure to honestly represent his clients making false promises, he also stole from his own family.  He owes me $5,000 for services I honestly provided him and has ripped off many others. When I tried to collect the money due me, he blocked me and ran off down the street when I saw him in person downtown.  He is not only an unskilled attorney, god help any client who hires him, but he is dishonest on many levels.  Even his own father disowned him.

Richard J. McCague, a former Allegheny County assistant public defender, was suspended for two years, beginning November 2006 for mishandling client matters in two cases.

Earlier that year, he was subject of a public censure when he was convicted of a summary offense for attempting to smuggle tobacco and marijuana into the county jail while visiting a private client.

The board, at the time, found that Mr. McCague had a history of engaging in conduct detrimental to his clients and the legal profession and that "his actions reveal a lack of lucid judgment."
