ATVDiscounter robbing a handicaped person by selling bad, junk mobility scooter. Fort Worth Texas

I bought an electric Mobility Scooter from ATVdiscounter through ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190129125596 on July 13. Two weeks later, when received the vehicle, I found out they had sent me the wrong battery charger with the vehicle. Unable to check the vehicle's functionality without the batteries fully charged, I tried to call the service department numerous times but all I got was the voice mail message.

I finally got in touch with a person on line a week later, and explained to him the problem. He agreed to sent me a replacement charger, and charged me $38.95 for it. Ten days later, when receiving the new charger, I charged up the batteries and got ready for a test on my new scooter. To my disappointment, as soon as the vehicle's power switched on, the 200lbs scooter jumped backward in the reversed direction, crashing into my parked van causing a big dent & long scratches along the side of the van.

I immediately contacted the ATV Discounter's service department, again, it took me several days before getting to speak to a human. He instructed me to turn the 200lbs machine up side down, to check on the electrical connection to the motor which may have been connected wrong from the manufacture. I explained to him that I was not be able to do that and ask if I could return the scooter. He told me that since I bought it from ebay there would be no return and if I could get someone to find out what was wrong with the machine, he would replace only the defective parts.

I then had no choice but hiring a mechanic to check out the problem. It costed me $175 for a mechanic to come to my house for the troubleshooting. When the mechanic found out one of the parts from the motor was bad, I was given an address to send in for replacement. To make sure that there would be no excuse from ATV discounter for not receiving the defective part, I paid extra for tracking information using usps.com tracking No. 03061070000445457800 .

Up until now, I still have not hear from them, there is no part replacement, I am stuck with a brand new scooter that never worked. By now after 60 days, it is too late to file an Ebay claim, Paypal gave me only 20 days to resolve the dispute. Being a reasonable person, I kept giving this company chances to correct the problem but week after week went by waiting, I am out option to recoup my lost.
