If you are considering buying a new or used Audi or Porshe, I suggest, and by suggest I mean, DONT EVER GO TO AUDI OF NASHUA. This company has been the worst business I have ever encountered. They are dishonest, decieving, manipulating, and extremely rude.
My bad experience with this company started to when I was shopping for the car. I already knew what I wanted, what options, and even color... but couldnt get a salesman to help me. My guess is, because of my age, and the way I was dressed, the salesman didnt want to even bother figuring I could not afford a Audi. I had to get the sales manager to get some assistance.

So because there are very few Audi dealerships in the state, and they are right by my hometown, and at the time they also insured me outstanding service at the dealership if I purchased there, I ordered the car from Audi of Nashua. BIG mistake.

I waited 3 months to have the car built and shipped here. Once it arrived, I watched it get unloaded from there truck. I didnt want a front plate mounted on the bumper, it was written in my sales agreement. So when the car came off the truck my salesman wrote on the windshield in big letters NO FRONT PLATE!!!

A few days later they called me in to get the paperwork out of the way. My car was being prepped in the garage so we went and took a look at it.... and what do yea know, theres a front plate mounted into my bumper. So we had the Tech take it off, but it was too late, he didnt even pre-sink the holes in the bumper, he just drilled the screws right it, leaving huge holes and stress marks in the paint. I was pretty upset, but waited so long for the car I wasnt about to not take delivery. So we just put the plate back on, it looks horrible.

I took delivery of the car, and right away my breaks had some issues, the left front was always engaged. I took it in and it was serviced, telling me it was "normal." Although when I left the dealership, the breaks were fixed.

The car was okay after that until about 10,000 miles. At that point my steering started to make cracking and popping noises and became "loose" while driving. I brought it in for service, and Audi immediatly replaced my steering rack, power steering pump, and all the belts.

I got my car back after a few days in the shop. When I parked the car at work and I was walking away from it I noticed scratches, not one or two, but hundreds of little ones covering the car from bumper to bumper. I knew exactly what had caused it... during my "courtesy" wash the car was dried with a "california blade" but it had been covered in sand and not cleaned before drying the car.

I drove right back to the dealership asking to speak to the manager. The Service Manager came out, took a look at the car and said "We didnt do this, you did." I explained to him that I hand wash my car, and use a clean leather shammy to dry it. Also that the car was just picked up out of there wash bay. Again he told me, "Well we didnt do it, and Im not fixing it." This started a argument between the two of us, which ended in him telling me to "get off his lot, and not to come back, he wont service my car any longer."

I happily left and called the owner of the dealership, and stated my complaint to his secretary. Within minutes the Service Manager was down at my work, telling me he would try to get the scratches out, and if I needed anything to let him know. I guess they tried to get the scratches out, but there still there.

Along the next 10-15k miles, I had numerous small problems with the car... The window switches had to be replaced twice, the rear folding seat kept breaking loose, undercarriage plastics came loose and broke on the highway, the auto diming mirrors stopped working, and the car's alignment kept coming out. It was also chewing up tires with irregular wear.

So the steering started to act up again, cracking and popping, the same as before. The car was brought in for service, and Audi replaced the steering rack, pump and a few other steering parts... again.

I picked the car up, and on my way home about 5 miles from the dealership, soemthing snapped and I couldnt change gears, it was stuck in 4th. I drove the car back to the dealership, smoking the hole way. I got there and the service dept came out to take a look at my smoking P.O.S. Turns out the gear linkage snapped. How? Someone had to have been beating on it, and it sure as hell wasnt me.

The car was fixed and returned to me. It ran okay for another 10k miles until the steeting decided to start cracking again. So I brought it in, but this time instead of fixing my steering they tell me it "normal." And nothing was done.

When this happened I did not know about "Lemon Laws." The State of NH law says that any 3 repairs done on the same general area the car "qualifies" the lemon law. (This isnt the exact wording, but you get the idea) Now I understand that they didnt want to fix it for the 3rd time for fear that it may be a lemon.

I kept bringing the car in for service, complaing of the loose steering and felt it was getting unsafe, but every time they told me it was "normal."

My warrantee ran out at 50k miles. Then everything went from bad to worse. I was on the highway going about 75mph in traffic when my left front break caliper decided to lock up. It pulled my car to the left and I had to fight it to keep it straight. I immdediatly brought the car to the dealership, where they told me it was $1200 to fix. They would not cover it, even though it was the same caliper that was locking up when I bought the car. So I bought all the parts and a friend and myself repaired the car for half the price.

My next problem... I had my 2 year old daughter in the back seat in her carseat. When we arrived to where we were going I was taking her out of her carseat when I noticed the seat had broke again and came loose, HER CARSEAT WAS THE ONLY THING HOLDING THE BACK OF THE SEAT UP!!! If we were in a crash, or I even hit the breaks hard, she would have been seriously hurt or killed. I was furious, I called Audi and they told me the seat just cant come unlatched.

Although that was the 3rd time it had already. I could get it fixed, thats all they said. I once again, got the part, and fixed it myself.

So I find out from a friend about the "Lemon Law." I immediatly filed a claim. Ironicly, the day that Audi found out that I filed a claim against them, I was driving to see my girlfriend in the Miss NH pagent, I was coming straight from work when all of a sudden the car shutoff and all the controls locked up and I couldnt steer the car, going 80mph in traffic. I had to keep turing the key really fast to actually get the electronics working to steer it off the road. I sat and waited with my car waiting for a flat beded to the dealship as I missed my girlfriends performance in the Miss New Hampshire pageant. Something that can not ever be given back to me.

I waited for a week to find out what was wrong with my car, it was the fuel pump. And it took another week to get it fixed, which cost me almost $700. I tried to get Audi to cover the fuel pump, since the 03's fuel pump (which is the same as my 04's) had been recalled and replaced for free. Audi would not budge. While the car was there for service, they had a chance to do a "Final Repair Attempt" on my car for the Lemon Law. Even though the steering is worse than ever now, and definitly unsafe and difficult to drive, they refused the final repair attempt, and told me to "go ahead with the lemon law, we dont have a good track record with lemons anyway." So I did.

Driving away from the dealership this time, my wipers decided to quit on me, in the middle of the rain. I called Audi with yet another complaint and they said they would get back to me. In the mean time, its been raining up here for weeks, and I cant even see when Im driving. I called Audi, and Audi Corporate everyday for 2 weeks, and never got a response. Finally today they called me, it had nothign to do with any of my concerns... they called to offer me a settlement... They offered me a thousand dollars off on my next Audi/VW purchase, to drop me lemon law case. This was a spit in my face, and more of a joke than a proposal.

Today I found out my hearing date for my lemon, one month away. I cant wait. I am driving a unsafe, hard to contol vehicle. Im surprised this company has not backed there product, that comes with a premium price. I have been treated unfairly and poorly since day one at this dealership, and by this company.

If I wanted this kind of dishonest, rude and just plain horrible service, I would have bought a used Ford Escort from some hole in the wall used car dealer.
Audi needs to own up to there mistakes, and the way there dealership treats its customers. I have never felt so strongly against a business before, and there are some awfull practices out there.

I highly recomend not going to Audi Of Nashua. Dont learn the hardway like I did, take my advice.
