Today I spoke with an individual from your company that
refused to build a custom box because I was essentially not purchasing the
speaker from your company. Of course he did not word it that way and his original statement was that they could not install a JL Audio speaker that did not come from a Authorized retailer. Of course this being the case, I could choose to purchase from Crutchfield and the individual still refused to build the custom box. So the only logical conclusion is that unless I buy the speaker from your company he would not build the box.
Now with that said, In the past Christmas I went to your store and I was going to have your company install a full system on my wife's car. After going the numbers, I decided
to do the install myself. In my defense you did not carry the Ecort 9500CI and the reviews online of the k40 where not as favorable as the Escort's 9500CI model, So since i had to install one thing;
I decided to install everything. It appears that the sales manager is unhappy due to my decision. I am not sure how your company does the day to day business, but as a customer I decide where and when I will spend my hard earned cash. Your company does great work, but the prices are not always competitive within our local market. I do understand that your clientele is composed mostly of customers that can afford to pay the high end prices, however I am a customer that is price conscious and while I am not able to give you all my business, I was willing purchase things that I
considered to be reasonably priced.
For example, I had talked to Evan Kozak "extremely helpful and friendly" and we where planning on revamping the audio system on my corvette, I was planning on getting tires from serious sports for the corvette. They had already priced them for me and although I could have bought them $100 dollar cheaper elsewhere, I would have rather given them my business since they were doing other things for me.
Unfortunately your manager is holding against me the fact that I am technically savvy and Installed the system over the holidays myself instead of using your services. Now if this is the motto of your company then the best of luck to you. But would it not make sense to move forward and instead accept the business that I was willing to give your company? That is the part I cannot understand...
I guess the name Ask The Advisors suites your business but maybe you need to add as a slogan that if you Ask and do not buy then there is a problem.
I would appreciate very much if this email is forwarded to the business owner. I will also send a
