I understand that you, Parker & Sloan, are speaking politically correct, to drum up business but hopefully you will not follow the example of the previous owners. I KNOW that every one is not always selected to be sent on auditions and that it's based on your perception, as I have 5 children that I've had in the business for print and talent for several years now. I just do not understand how my son was sent on 3 different auditions at 3 different times by another agency that you NEVER considered him for, but you sent other kids from this agency to the same one, who did not get the job. I know this because parents ALWAYS talk and even exchange numbers/emails at the auditions while waiting for their children. If you thought my son was good enough to take my money for bogus photos that had him 2 shades darker, then he should have been good enough for at least an audition. Not once was he considered for anything in 3 1/2 years. That's utterly rediculous, and sounds like a SCAM to me. If the child's not good enough in yoiur opinion, then be honest and tell them up front and don't do the photo shoot and membership hustle. That's all I'm saying!

Audition Division merged with Parker & Sloan March 2013.ADL worked booking kids with Geddes Agency ( one of the top agencies in Chicago ) for over 38 years. If a talent passes audition and is "workable" we require comps and demo reels to show to clients. ( as does EVERY Agency) We are non union and not exclusive.If a client does not know anyone to shoot the materials ( we give that option) we can shoot them at a discounted price so they will not overspend. We work with new talent for 3 years so materials need to be updated every year.Our price is about 100/yr. for comps and the same for demo reels.If a client is unhappy with the shoot we will reshoot for free.We may get a few a year reshoots at most.The client also receives a disc with comps on it should they want to multilist their child.Mr Parker has been in the business for 30 years and tells everyone the same thing upfront.If/when placed we get 20% commission.Not everyone is going to be happy and not everyone gets chosen if sent to be considered for a project.We send people that we think fits said job.It is not a perfect science.Bottom line is go to other agencies that send you to overpriced photographers..sign up exclusive, sign you to a school, and send you on cattlecalls..see how that works out.There are alot of good places in Chicago.We just try to be fair.
