Augeo Affinity Marketing PerksCard.com PerksGroup Scammed me out of $1300 and never heard from them again. Ronkonkoma New York

I was contacted by Joe Schnepf and had a wonderful conversation about an "exclusive ad" that would be placed in a Perks Program with a local VA hospital group. I asked for documentation and a demonstration of the program and got a very convincing walk through. Then, after they got my money and all my credit card information, I didn't hear anything after the first couple of days and then a month later I get a voicemail (which I have saved) from another service rep trying to sell me the exact same exclusive ad. Of course I flipped, called my original rep (who was supposed to be available for the whole year I paid for) and could not get any help. He wrote back "I have informed the appropriate people and they will contact you" and never heard anything. I've done everything to try to get it back and by the time I figured out what happened I could no longer get the money back through my bank's fraud department. I am trying to find the appropriate company to sue for a small claim and even that is proving impossible. The worst and most humiliating experience of my career as a small business owner and, embarassing enough, attorney. Totally despicable group of people and I'm disappointed in myself for buying into it. If they can scam an attorney and a VA hospital, you better believe everyone is at risk!
