AURALUX BEAUTY CREAM & AFFILIATE(S) UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES AFTER ACCESS TO CREDIT CARD USED FOR S&H ONLY ON "FREE SAMPLES" ANTIOCH California

Preview Report Title: AURALUX BEAUTY CREAM & AFFILIATE(S)

After CAREFULLY and THOROUGHLY reading the Ts & Cs, I ordered and charged on the internet using my Visa card the shipping charges of under $5 for each of the offered FREE SAMPLES. Meanwhile my wife decided to research the Auralux product(s) and learned of their scamming practices. 

I monitored our Visa account daily, and approximately one month later I caught two (2) charges, each slightly over $85, for Auralux Cream and "Snake Venom" Cream, neither of which I ordered.

I promptly contested the charges with my Visa card bank. Then today (3/11) I called "customer service" at their published number, 925-529-6510 and spoke with "Erin" after several minutes wait. I summarized my issue to her. She then explained thet the terms of the offer were for a trial one month supply which would be billed at the end of the trial period (unless I otherwise canceled within thirty days of ordering), and a monthly supply would be shipped and billed thereafter until otherwise canceled.

I then explained to her that I was recording our call and wanted her to know that I had spent my career in contracts and there were no such contingincies or terms contained in their on-line offer. She did not attempt to refute or discuss my assertion, but she gratuitously offered that the best adjustment she could make was to refund to me $15 on each of the billed items. 

I suggested that they take the $30 and shove it down the throat of whoever is running this scam. I further explained to her that I have the knowledge, time, will, contacts and means to pursue this issue, through my attorney, with the FTC, BBB, Ripoff Reports, and such other resources as necessary to see that they are shut down. When I asked to speak with her manager or the president of the firm, she asked me to wait while she checked someone else, then shortly returned and said they would refund the entire amount, which would take about four to five days to appear on my Visa account, and they would "close my account" with them. (BOO h*o!)

(From my research, it appears this scam may originate from various locations in the western U.S. including Arizona as well as Antiocch CA.)
