Back in 2006, I had a pay problem with the Military. Causing me not to be able to make my mortgage payments. It took four months to resolve the errors that were made with my pay. Once the pay mess was straitened out Aurora Loan Services, contracted, payments arrangements for me to follow to our loan current within several months.

When I sent in my payment Aurora Loan Services refused the payment. I again contacted Aurora Loan Services for them to establish a new series of payments to get our account brought current within several months. Again, Aurora Loan Services refused the payment(s) that I had sent in. The refused a personal check sent certified return receipt, they refused a western union quick collect payment, they've refused internet payments? Recently they filed foreclosure on our home, well knowing that I am still deployed away from home.

On three separate occasions we have had Mortgage Companies willing to refi the property all that was needed to complete the transaction was a letter from Aurora to new mortgage company was a letter stating that our loan was in good standing and protected by the Soldiers and Sailors Relief act. They have refused to do even that, they are reporting the account to the Credit Bureau(s) as like a million days in default? any assistance.

I am also having the same problems

AUTHOR: Denise - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 01, 2008

I also am having the exact same problems with Aurora Loan Services. My husband and I fell a few months behind on our morgage and agreed to a repayment plan that was supposed to include both our first and second morgage. Well the first problem occured when we found out the repayment plan was only covering the primary mortgage and at an outragous amount of 2300 dollars we are unable to pay for the second mortgage so that one is now falling behind while we catch up on the first one.

The second problem we encountered was that our payment arrangements were supposed to end in June but when I contacted the Company they have them set to end in Sepember. Here lies the problem you had also. They "misplaced" my first payment which then put my loan into default. They then sent us foreclosure papers from the court which were in face not really docked there cause when we contacted the courthouses they had no records of our case.(so you might want to check and see if they actually filed or if they are trying a scare tactic, my case had no docket number I do not know how they got the court documents that were no official?

Well after that their computer supposeably reset our patment plan to a totally different arrangement that I had agreed on and signed for. The supervisor told me that since the computer automaticaaly rewrote my agreement it could not be corrected and it was nw my responsibilty to pay the new amount. Then she stated my 2nd payment was taken and half was applied to corporate fees(which on my agreement was $95.00 but they took half of a $2300 dollare payment and applied it to the fees and then took the other half and put it into suspense.. All of these "TACTICS" I feel are the companies way of getting extra money, they lose your payment and then you are responsible for extra fee and penalties. The company does not take responsibility for their own errors nor do they fix them. Do not expect a return call cause you will never get one of those either. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with and they should be shut down for illegal practices.

I am trying to do all the research I can to see if there are any existing class action lawsuits against them or find people who would like to start one.

I have found the following places that may be abe to assist you. It is also a long process to get ot properly investigated but the more complaints the better!
