After reading a huge ad in the newest version of the yellow pages of Gaston County, NC, I sent my son's tablet in to them to be repaired. I received a call on March 10th, 2013 from Bob (AKA ROBERT BRUCE PACHLEY) who told me it was fixed and would beshipped out the next day. He said the cost was 36.00. I gave him my debit card information and was then subsequently charged 136.00. I thought I might have mis heard him, but now I know he told me the low price to get my card number.
The tablet never came, so after a week I called them and a woman told me that the tablet was still there and had not been fixed and that they could not fix it. I was told that I would be issued a refund back on my debit card and that they would send the tablet back. They did eventually send the tablet back, but I never received my refund. I have called several times and have been proimised a return phone call several time and it never happens. I have called relentlessly.
On April 9th, 2013, Bob told me that they were sending my refund via certified mail (as a check) and that it was being mailed out Thursday, April 11th. I live in Charlotte NC which is not far from Columbia and even the Post Office told me I shouuld have received it by now. After calling them from several phone lines and being placed on hold for over 30 minutes each time, I spoke with another male who said that they "were still working on my email." I was then told that if I called back again, the I would not get my refund.
So, I hung up, and called them again demanding to speak with Bob. After all of this, today, April 16th Bob gave me the supposed check number from their account (which means nothing) an said he would call me back with the address the check was mailed to because he had to go into a different computer screen to get that. Ofcourse, and always, he never called back and they are not answering their phone.
I filed a BBB complaint and I plan to file a police report on the company tomorrow. I am tempted to go there and sit in front of their door until I get my money back because after reading the other complaints on here, it does not look like I will ever see it again. I am not a very wealthy person, so 136.00 is a lot and would go a long way toward replacing my 7 years olds tablet. I'm extremely fed up and angry. believe they are just a scam set up to charge people for nothing and they need to be arrested and shut down.
They have a big ad in the latest yellow pages that just came out so many more people will be ripped off as well. If anyone wants to jopin forces with me, let me know because I am about to make sure that good old criminal Bobby goes back to prison where he belongs. I don't care if it costs me more than my refund, either. He needs to be stopped, immediately.
