Authorized Movers - Freedom Vanlines RIPP OFF PROFESSIONALS DALLAS, Texas

This was the worst move I've ever experienced. All u can move arrived 10 hours late to pick up my things. When they arrived half of the crew was drunk and the other half seemed like they were on drugs.

As soon as they walked in the door, the foreman who smelled like 3 day old liquor and urine, started to yell at me and tell me that I had 5 times the amount of goods that had been estimated. I gave them an inventory list over the phone so they knew exactly what I had.

I told them my estimate was by the weight, just to load my stuff and take it to the weigh station, that way I could know exactly what I had.

They proceeded to drag and throw my personal belongings onto the truck, breaking furniture before it was even loaded onto the truck.

Some of their workers were even smoking marijuana in my garage. When I asked them what was that smell, they told me to mind my own business if I ever wanted to see my furniture again.

At this point I was ready to call the police, but since I was home alone, I was terrified of making any false move.

Once they loaded everything, the drunk foreman told me that they would not weigh my things, that he knew what he was doing, and if I didn't like it they would dump my stuff in the middle of the highway.

My estimate was for 1800.00, but the foreman told me it would cost $6000.00 if I ever wanted to see my furniture again.The foreman even told me that he would give me a discount if I would have sex with him.

I paid the $6000.00 just to get this nightmare over.It's been 3 months since this ordeal, and after calling everyday, and writing letters, I finally received only half of my belongings. And everything was broken up and in shambles.

I did some research on the company after the fact. I found out that all you can move is really freedom vanlines. and they changed the name because they had killed 4 people, 2 of which were customers.
