The company charged my credit card for software that was pirated. it did not run, had viruses in it and was cracked. I am canceling my credit card now to prevent them from emptying my account. they are fraudulent and although their websites all say they are authorized resellers they ARE NOT. this is a scam to get credit card information and could lead to identity theft, emptying your credit card accounts etc. they have many names to their numerous websites. My account was charged to a "maxbuyin.com" address. They already changed their company name since I placed my order. they have images of better business bureau BBB, and cnet certified. they are not clickable links and cannot be verified. This is a scam and I have lost over a hundred dollars as of now. I hope this is the end of their scam but i will safeguard myself by locking my CC account

Authorized Software Resellers

AUTHOR: Ans - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 02, 2010

I am sorry for what happened to you.

I had serious doubts about a similar website at http://buy-oem-soft.com  which also claimed to be an Authorized Software Resllers.  I am still researching available complaints and yes this  site does have all the brand lables of authenticity BBB, Cnet, Micrsoft Certified, yep the works.   The software I was seeking to purchase list for $499.95--their price $49.

I was hoping this was not a scam but the site did not list PayPal or other know secure payment methods just the requested visa number and the three digit secure code on back of the VISA card and other relevant info.   I was looking for a bargain simply because I cannot afford the software I need and  since the manufacture does not offer it anymore, I initially thought that this company simply purchased old software from the companies to sell at a bargain price.      Again I am sorry for what happened to you and I might owe the above website an apology if they are legit but I doubt it, based on the similarity of other scam websites that show the same luring content and cheap prices for just about every software in existence.
