My car broke down in December of 2009 and I had a car note with AFS (i was paying 462 dollars a month) I had to pay 1,800 dollars to get my car fixed and AFS (Auto Bank) was supposed to hold all payment's until it gotten fixed... Which they didn't so I had to pay while I was trying to get my car fixed and i kept asking them can you please hold the payments...They answered no because they have no proof that you car is broken down. So i sent them receipt and they replied...We never got the receipt... I was so angry family members of mine had to send me money to get my car out (I am only a server at Chili's so I only make off tips) later that week they called and said I was a thousand dollars behind on my payments and I asked them how they replied you never payed when your car was broken down and I sent them TWO receipt's stating that my car was broken from the person who was fixing my cars once again they said they didn't get the receipt (and one of there workers slipped up and said she did get it) so i slowly but surely payed them every little money i got two weeks later today on January 26, 2010 my car was repossessed they didn't knock on my door or leave a note or even call they just took the car.(this was my first time ever having my car  repossessed) I called and asked why was it repossessed they said my payments were 79 days late and i was sending them 70 to 100 dollars every time i gotten to it so how was I 79 days late the manger Mr. Holiday was so rude and every one of his workers are rude and nasty I hate calling there because every one of his workers have something to say like one told me "oh you deserve you car getting repossessed" i do not know what to do I  am under a lot of pressure can any one HELP ME!!!

I'm curious

Why do you think you don't have to make car payments while its being repaired?  You no doubt agreed to make monthly payments, and if what you say is true, why is someone who is only making it on tips able to get a loan for something that has $462.00 a month payment?  None of this makes sense.  Whats really going on?  If my windows get broken, I still have to make my house payments.  Please explain.
