In December 2003, I decided to try to get someone to assume my lease payments as I had no more ue for my 2002 Mazda Protege 5. I placed an ad on the web with a company which will remain nameless. However, while ad was posted, I received an email from Auto Connnections America saying how interested they were in my auto. They directed me to their website which I checked out. They said they could get me out of my lease and that they had customers quite interested in my car.
They sounded quite legitimate and in fact, I could not negative press about them. The BBB of Nevada had no complaints, the Attorney General of Nevada had no complaints. So I decided to pursue it. December 24th, 2003, a man named Louis arrived at the Columbus, Ohio airport where my wife and I met him with the car. He was their driver and was going to transport my car back to Las Vegas. We signed a contract which spelled out everything they would do with the car and how they would make all the remaining payments on the lease by finding a lessee. The insurance would be covered and the car would be well taken care of.
All went well for Jan-April. Payments made, no problem. Then May and June payments were not made and were quite late. My bank calling me asking where the payments are at? They(Joe & Rosemary Guzman-owners) when contacted apologized and told me that all payments and late charges would be made. And in fact they did make payments.
However, things began to disintegrate as July and now August payments not made. Phone calls never returned, no email contact, no faxes acknowledged, nothing! They have the car, but now no way to get them to make payments, bank on my *ss big time!
This campany is a rip-off and fraud. They never let me know who had the car in the first place, where the auto was, what the condition of the auto is, etc.
Consumer beware, do not lease out your car to anyone!!!!!!
I am soon to be suing them for $100,000 + legal fees. It will take me time and money to get this straightened out!

I will make this short. Auto Connections got me too. If there is a way we could contact each other, I might have, and you might have information the other does not so that we can both hopefully get our cars back.
Your report is the exact same as mine.
